Ioanna Lin integrates calligraphy, one of the key symbols of traditional Chinese culture, with contemporary art installation, presenting this timeless form in a completely new light. Using brush and ink on traditional rice paper, she transcribes 49 poems to create a space imbued with the rich essence of Chinese culture. These poems are a deeply reflective analysis of her life experiences, as well as her inner monologue, in three languages and divided into three themes: the Upliftment of the Spirit, the Essence of Love and the Value of Life.
